ok. I love reading fantacy, a little of science fiction, lots of mysteries, and anything that sounds interesting!!! I have run out of books to read and was just wondering if you could help me out with choosing my next load of books to read. Books that I have read are the HP series, the LOTR series, Sue Graphton series, most of the Agatha Kristy series, Dragonriders of Pern series, books by Mary Higgins Clark, and many many more. A little summary about the book would really really help!!! Thanks so much!!!

Oh I was just going to reccomend Pern, but since you've already read it I won't bother. They're amazing books though aren't they? If you liked HP then you also might like the His dark Materials series by Philip Pullman. They're set in Victorean England in an alternate universe and it starts out with a girl trying to save her friends from some evil kidnappers but turns way more complex after that. You can get all the books on Web Braille so maybe you'll enjoy them.

Michel Faber Under the Skin....

This is a truly unsettling and stunning novel, about the relationship between people, how we use others, our treatment of animals and ourselves...The character Isserley picks up hitch hikers in the highlands and they must be male, fit, tall and well built....

The reason for this will shock you deeply and may cause you to back off, but it's worth sticking with the story,as Isserley becomes sickened and disturbed by the cruelty meted out to her victims..the truth of her identity and the juxtposition between how she views them and herself is blatant and at times dispassionate, but Faber pulls no punches and forces the reader to confront some difficult uncomfortable ethical issues...

The Ender Wiggon series by Orsin Scott Card, I"m sure that's spelled wrong, it's a really good science fiction series about a boy who is trained from age 7 along with his peers to become soldiers in a grand war, I can't go into any more detail or else it would ruin the series, but it is a very good series of books.

If you like romance along with the mystery, I like a lot of Nora Roberts' books. I have recently completed the Three Sisters series of three books. Dance Upon the Air is about a woman who runs away from an abusive husband and ends up on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. She turns out to be the third link in the chain needed to save the island from a spell that was cast 300 years ago. She learns gradually that she has the ability to cast spells. In the next book in the series, Heaven and Earth, a woman who is already a resident of the island learns to stop fighting her own powers and accept her fate. In Face the Fire, the last book, another resident of the island, who is the most powerful of the three witches, finally gets back together with a man who dumped her 10 years ago. He is also a witch, which surprised me because I didn't know men could be witches. I loved these books and learned a lot about witchcraft.

Well I am starting "Dune" a sci fi series that is seriously good, so far anyways, my friend loves them. I am an avid Terry Pratchett / discworld series, fan, those books are simply brilliant, very funny, very sarcastic, Men at Arms, Feet of Clay, Jingo and Nightwatch are a mini series within the series that are awesome and also Witches Abroad, Maskerade and Carpe Jukulem, about witches and vampires, making fun of the whole thing mind you but seriously good books.
Cheers
